Macramé at your workplace
Two months ago I took my granny trolly full of cotton rope and terracotta pots to the Facebook's headquarters at Grand Canal Dock as I've been invited once a month by the Facebook Analog Research Laboratory. They "facilitate open and supportive creative studios for members of the FB community along with invited Designers in Residence of all career stages". The space is amazing! It has been built as a creative space.
For an hour and a half members of the FB office come to the macramé workshops by themselves or with other members of their teams to learn a few knots and make their own macramé plant hanger or wall hanging. The experience and feedback have been great, as the participants leave the room more relaxed, happier and with a huge sense of accomplishment.
