Our linen face masks are hand-dyed with the deepest blue pigment extracted from the leaves of the Indigofera tinctorea. A plant that has been used for centuries, not just for its precious colour, but also for its medicinal antiseptic properties.
In African communities, Indigo is the colour of protection and this has been my inspiration when dyeing and sewing our face masks.
These masks come with an inner layer of certified antibacterial cotton OEKO-TEX STANDARD 100 which means that the fabric can be re-used and filters at least 94% of airborne particles.
Each mask includes and a nose wire to prevent your glasses from getting foggy and improve the fit of the mask.
Each mask has a unique tie-dye pattern and is subject to change.
The elastic bands are soft and nice to the touch and can be adjusted or replaced.
Make in small batches in our home-base studio in Madrid.
